Your conscious mind is amazing, but it’s like the tip of an iceberg. Unseen under the water supporting it is the rest of the iceberg; the far more powerful unconscious mind, constantly working for your benefit.
Your minds work on two levels – the conscious and the unconscious. You make decisions, think, and decide on a course of action with our conscious mind. The unconscious mind controls your habits. In the relaxed state known as hypnosis, you can communicate directly with the unconscious mind. This is why it is so quick and easy to change the habits of a lifetime with hypnosis.
Hypnosis is a naturally induced state of relaxed concentration – a state of mind and body in which you communicate suggestions to your subconscious mind. This part of your mind influences what you think, how you feel, and the choices you make.
Many people cannot tell the difference between the hypnotized and the waking states. Some people feel relaxed and lethargic, others feel a lightness. One thing that people do notice is the changes they desire. You will be conversant and in good spirits – totally relaxed, and fully in control.

The subconscious mind is able to override past negative programming, and also give
you a new, healthy way to function in life that does not include old unwanted patterns.
As a result, you not only experience a new, healthy lifestyle, but also have a new feeling of well-being and aliveness. Your body is set free to function as nature intended
Worry = Negative Self-Hypnosis
The negative self-talk you allow in your mind about the challenges you may be experiencing, repetitive patterns and/or other difficulties can cause great stress and anxiety.
When you become so worried that you allow a negative inner mind state to take over, you begin to realize the self-fulfilling prophecy of failure.
Hypnotherapy = Positive Change
Hypnotherapy can help. It transforms that fear and frustration you’re feeling, providing you with tools that enable you to achieve the relaxation necessary for a calm, peaceful, positive outcome.

Have you ever been on a journey when you suddenly realize you’ve missed your turning, or perhaps you’ve been so engrossed in a book or film that you haven’t heard your name being called? These are examples of being in a trance, and are so normal that we experience them every day. We even use the phrase, ‘I was miles away’, but it doesn’t mean we are out of control, or unable to return to the matters of day to day living when we want to, or when something attracts our attention.
In Hypnotherapy, you use these trance states to bring about positive therapeutic change by allowing yourself to become pleasantly physically and mentally relaxed, brought about by a skilled, qualified and professional therapist in a confidential and comfortable environment.
Hypnotherapy is a state of deep relaxation which is wonderful to experience. Whilst in hypnosis, you remain fully aware and completely in control. It is completely natural and safe, and people have used it effectively for many, many years to make beneficial changes and to increase mental, emotional and physical wellbeing in only a few sessions. Hypnotherapy is a positive and effective way of working on a wide range of issues, mental, emotional and physical, either to eliminate the negative or enhance the positive.

Many people nowadays are becoming increasingly willing to seek therapy for physical, psychological and emotional complaints, and at the same time are more aware that the traditional medical methods of dealing with these complaints, e.g. taking pills, may not always be the only – or necessarily the best – form of treatment. Hypnotherapy is a completely natural practice, with the only side effects being beneficial ones! It is now recognized that hypnotherapy is one of the most popular routes to effect lasting change.
Everyone can benefit from Hypnotherapy, whether simply for release of stress and tension or for fast and effective resolution of deeper problems and concerns.
Virtually anyone can achieve successful results using hypnosis. You make the journey; the therapist simply acts as the signpost to help you on your way. You make the choice to follow that route and bring about beneficial change.
I've been meaning to email you for a while to let you know that the hypnotherapy really helped my insomnia. The night after the treatment I didn't sleep a wink, it was as if all my worries were rising from my subconscious to shout at me so I really had to face them. So I had to sort a few things out, like getting a nursery place for the baby for when I return to work, having a long talk with my husband about where we want to move to, looking at putting our flat on the market etc. I think I had been so inolved in the new experience of being a parent that I'd put everythig else aside but real life was there waiting to be dealt with. I've also started keeping a diary again so I have a few minutes of reflection every evening.
Thanks so much for your help.'
